Program Thrust for COOPERATIVE EDUCATION ON SYNERGISM (CES)
The Four-Module CES Course

FORMAT:
.
Each module would take one day, and modules are preferably at one week apart. These combine expectation setting, lectures, short readings, guided discussions, sharing of direct and vicarious experiences, group dynamics, workshops, evaluation, and preparations for succeeding part or steps. There should be 10-25 participants of which 10 would take all modules in the prescribed order of succession, and others are screened to qualify; Module One is required for participants in other modules. Module Four seeks to start developing trainors for further spread of this module under the guidance of and accreditation by the SanibLakas Education for Empowerment service program.

Module One:  Basics of Synergism as Rooted in Individual Will and Skill
A. Definitions and metaphors of synergism; commonalities and diversities
B. The individual person as a synergy.
C. Synergies from micro to macro.
D. Individual will: the Personal Mission Statement and its relation to one's time
E. Individual skills: predispositions, choices, continuing growth
F. The Conscious Syn-er and the mission for the Filipino nation & Humanity

Module Two: Synergism as the 'Heart and Soul' of Cooperativism
A. Synergism's place in cooperative education
B. Synergism in Definition and Basic Principles of Cooperativism
C. Weaknesses and problems of cooperatives rooted in lack of synergism consciousness/application
D. Challenge of Cooperative Revolution: from strong primary to strength in industries
E. The role of cooperatives in nation-building

Module Three: The Three Synergies in Healthy Organizations
A. Essence of Organizations: a whole bunch of unities
B. The Basic Element: Active Members
C. The Function of Leadership
D. The Three Synergies and systems of activities (physiology)
E. The Three Synergies and structures for interaction (anatomy)
F. Successful Pre-Meetings, Meetings and Post-Meetings
G. Organizational Growth
H. Synergy Among Organizations

Module Four:  Sharing and Enrichment: The Basics of Education and Training
A. Sanib-Sinag concept at the core of educational synergy
B. C.E.S. as bi-directional learning
C. Definition of training and of all the loaded words in that definition
D. Purposes of Training and indicators of its success
E. Qualities of effective trainor
F. Components of an education-training program/project

COSTING:
.
SanibLakas charges P600 per person per day for a minimum of ten participants, covering module contents, resource persons and handouts. Discounts, ex-deals, delayed payment schemes and package arrangements can be negotiated. Partner organization handles food, venue, transportation and accommodation costs.
